Filmmaker, Photographer, Founder of The Moving Diary
A graduate of the University of Sydney in Film & Digital Art, Tae has worked across nearly every genre of photography and film — from feature films and documentaries to commercials, exhibitions, and street photography.
There was a time when he felt that pursuing commercial work meant betraying the essence of art. That struggle has become part of his creative identity, always seeking to balance artistic integrity with the demands of reality.
At the heart of his journey is the belief that to record a time is to love it. This philosophy led to the birth of The Moving Diary, driven by a quiet wish to capture what exists now, before it changes or disappears. Through film and photography, Tae continues to pursue the most honest and natural expression of each subject’s unique beauty.

GAYEON LEE
Producer, Photographer
With a background in film and a career in directing content as a Producer in South Korea, Gayeon has worked on a range of moving image projects.
Yet beneath the structure of production, she’s always felt more at home capturing unplanned, gentle beauty, the kind found in everyday people and moments.
Now studying her master’s at the University of Western Sydney, she continues to shape her perspective through work, study, and life in Australia.
SIWOO LEE
Photographer
Inspired by a passion for art during his school years, when he once dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, Siwoo now studies Marketing at the University of Technology Sydney.
Drawing from a youthful and free spirited perspective, he is shaping his own visual storytelling style, aiming to create photographs that are both emotionally resonant and uniquely expressive.

Mae, with a background in International Business from Monash University, has led a successful English academy in Korea for over ten years. Her passion for photography, ignited during her college years, grew into a profound commitment upon her return to Australia, where she dedicated herself to it beyond mere hobbyism. As a devoted mother and wife, Mae is known for treating her clients with unique gentleness and kindness. Her approach blends professional excellence with personal touch, making her services highly sought after. Mae’s journey from academia to entrepreneurship, and her seamless transition into the world of photography, exemplifies her versatile talents and dedication to her crafts.
ANGELA KANG
Photographer
Angela’s photography journey started at age 10, inspired by her grandfather, one of the first pioneers of Korean photography. She transitioned to digital photography by the time she was 12. Although she began studying law at university, she later left and continued her passion for photography while pursuing other career paths. This blend of diverse experiences has helped her expand her artistic approach. Angela’s philosophy, "preserving moments in time," reflects her dedication to capturing both the transient beauty of the moment and the deeper meaning of the past.
